Privacy Policy

The short version

Lumi: Let It Shine does not collect, store or share any information about you or your child. There are no accounts, no ads, no purchases and no analytics. Your game progress stays on your device.

What the app collects

Nothing. The app does not ask for a name, email, age, birthday, location, photos, contacts or any other personal information. It does not use the camera, microphone, location or any device identifier. On the App Store, the app's privacy label reads "Data Not Collected."

Game progress

Lumi saves things like finished levels, stars, fireflies, hats and settings on your device so you can pick up where you left off. This saved progress never leaves your device, and we cannot see it.

Keeping and deleting data

Because we collect nothing, we keep nothing. To clear the progress saved on your device, open Settings in the game and choose Start over, or delete the app. Either one erases it for good.

No ads, no purchases, no tracking

• The app shows no advertising.
• There are no in-app purchases. Everything in the game is earned by playing.
• There are no analytics or crash-reporting tools, and no third-party code that collects data.
• The app does not track you across other apps or websites.

Third parties

We do not share information with anyone, because we do not have any to share. The app includes no third-party services that collect data.

Network use

Everything the game needs ships inside the app, including its pictures, sounds and fonts. The app works without an internet connection and does not send anything to us or anyone else.

Children's privacy

Lumi is made with children and families in mind. We follow the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws, such as GDPR, by not collecting any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for a parent to review or delete. The app has no chat, no sharing and no way for a child to contact strangers.

Contacting us from the app

The For Grown-ups page has a Contact us button. It sits behind a grown-ups question so children do not open it by accident, and it opens your own mail app. If you choose to email us, we use your email address only to reply. We never add it to a list, and we will delete your message if you ask.

Apple

Apple runs the App Store and may collect information under its own privacy policy, for example when you download the app. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may show us anonymous totals such as download and crash counts. These never identify you or your child.

This website

These pages have no cookies, no forms, no ads and no analytics. Our web host, Cloudflare, handles basic request details such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and keep them secure. We do not use those details to track anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. We will not start collecting information from children without first updating this policy and getting any consent the law requires.
